Coming from Bard Picasso Records on the 13th July 2024 is the new Debut EP release from South Wales artist K-Saulz and Beat Maestro Raph Stormwalker

Cardiac Attest is just what the doctor ordered and touches on some of the current and past events that have unfolded over the last several years on the world stage and gives a perspective on what could be brewing in our impending future. Combining the creative wordplay of K-Saulz with the raw, crunchy boom bap inspired production of Raph Stormwalker, this EP takes the classic Hip Hop sound and injects it with some grit.

The first incision is made with the EPs title track "CARDIAC ATTEST", an eerie, oriental sounding, slow tempo beat which explores the state of the world as we know it today as we move towards a dystopian future if left unchecked, it also has the only feature on the project the legendry South Wales DJ "DJ Jaffa".

We then get smacked in the face with the Taskforce inspired sound of "CORRUPTION" that explores the corruption within geopolitics, economic systems and governments that govern our societies. The bonus track "DON’T GIVE UP" features a sample from the hit Peter Gabriel song featuring Kate Bush of the same title, the message in this track is as bad as things seem “Don’t give up” unity and faith is key. With track number 4 "IMAGINE" Raph switches the beat style up with a more jazzy, up beat vibe and K-Saulz questions the legitimacy of terrorism and tries to at the same time help us Imagine humanity evolving to a higher state of consciousness. We finish the project off with the closing track "SURVIVAL TACTICS", here, enters the dragon, equipped to deal with what is to unravel before him.

This is definitely the most socially conscious and politically charged project we have heard from K-Saulz to date and intended to inspire and resuscitate.
